BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY

Today was such a beeeautiful day!  We've been having such bipolar weather for the last couple of weeks, we thought we better take advantage of the mild, sunny day.  We had temps in the 100's then rain, thunder & lightening for a whole day, then cold.  This is San Diego!  We don't get weather changes like that!!  Especially all in one week!  I actually had to put on sock and long sleeves!!



First we visited relatives we haven't seen in awhile...or never, but, hey we found them!



 













Since we were close to downtown, we were practically FORCED to go to Coronado and enjoy the scenery.  Yeah, it's tough, but someone has to live here and take pics to flaunt on a blog.

Then we barbequed delicious steaks and watched a dvd about London & Scotland.  I broke down & gave Eddie some scraps, which he later threw up on the carpet.  Ahhhhh, it was a good day!

    What DVD did you watch? Should we put together a DVD for you to watch in preperation for your trip? Who are we kidding, we all know I would never get it sent out, if I made it the DVD would sit by my computer or on my washing machine for a year or so.

    Phyllis, the DVD was called "Passport to Europe: England, Ireland, & Scotland". It was ok, but mostly covered the basics and alot of pubs. I'm amazed that the host lady wasn't slurring her words.

    Sounds like a fabulous Sunday. I love love love my kids and there are days I think, "Wow, they are so wonderful. Life is great." However, I can't hold back the jealousy of what a calm relaxing day you and Dan had together. Can't wait for those days. Too bad they are atleast 18 - 20 years away!
