It's a new day...I'll try again

I still have pics I want to post from our Utah trip. I think I'll try again. (cool, it's thundering outside right now...sorry, a little ADD going on)

Isn't Dan wonderful! He helped mom figure out how to use her camera.

Mom went back to using a camera with film after getting frustrated with a digital one. Hey, at 86 she's amazing! She can forward emails like a pro! Not quite sure if she had film in the camera, though. Kids nowadays(that's one word right?) don't know about film. When she's at a restaurant & asks the server to take a picture of her with someone, they keep clicking away using up her film, even though she makes sure to explain that this camera has film! I think the instructions for this camera were in 123 different languages.

I'm driving a Farrari! (pedal cart)

My nephew's in-laws were also staying with James(my brother), and they sell these cool pedal carts. They have grown up size & child size. It even had a gear shift. It handled just like a real Farrari.(cuz I know, cuz...I just know)

Two mooses..meece...moosems

We took a drive up the canyon and saw these guys right by the side of the road. Yes, there are two of them, one's just a little shy. They held so still for the photo op I wondered if someone had put some stuffed moose there with a hidden camera. They finally moved, and we realized we weren't idiots, just lucky.

Ah, young love.

Believe me, this was just the beginning of the photo ops as we went up the canyon. Don't worry,I won't be posting ALL the pics. It was beautiful, even though the leaves weren't quite changing yet. I'm sure they turned right after we left, cuz it was cold.(refer to California type winter coats)

Soooo many beautiful things to capture on film, or memory disk

James has a big camera w/ a big fancy lens. Dan has lens envy. Dan's camera is bigger than mine, but the lens isn't as big as James'. It was all worth it, since....
...this is what they were focused on.

See this is taken with my little CoolPix. I love my old, little camera! It has been just fine for me for years. I still don't know what all it's settings can do, but I don't care.

I love my Brian!

We ate lunch with Brian. (he's strong) FYI Brian gives the best hugs! That's for all you single ladies out there. And just look at how cute he is!

Suprise, Dan! It's your favorite Aunt & Uncle!

Look who we popped in to see at the Missionary Mall, Dan Newbold! We totally took him by suprise. He even came over to Chelsey's later that night and played games with us. Sorry if you were late for your date, but it was well worth it, eh, Dan?

Fun time at Macaroni Grill

Out to dinner with Chelsey & Bracken. They really enjoy the bread and crayons! I can't seem to get the bold lettering to stop now, even though it's not showing that it's on! So the rest of this may look as though I'm shouting. Funny story about us popping in on Bracken at work...maybe another time.

,

Look, twins.

Ha, not even close! I kept this pic smaller so you don't have to look at my large pores. You're welcome. Chelsey's always up for having her picture taken.

Almost done with our trip, but more fun to come. I'm sure you'll be waiting impatiently, but you'll just have to wait until I have another spell of blogging fever.

  2. I was wondering when I would see that picture of all of us. You should've stopped choking dad; his face was losing oxygen.
